Points in Holding

I have 14 points in holding status and I won't be able to return to WDW before my use year ends (8/31/06). Can someone tell me if they can be transferred to another member or rented out?

They can definitely be rented to someone else. You would just need to make a reservation for the other party using those points. They may be used for a reservation within 60 days of when you call (today that would include all dates thru 8/25/06).

Some have reportedly been allowed to transfer Holding Points to other members- they should retain their limitations (Holding/expire 8/31/06).

Holding account points can indeed be transferred, even if they were originally banked or borrowed. They should retain their restrictions though experience suggests they usually do not.
