We have two villas reserved for arrival in 29 days. They have separate reservation numbers. We have found out that the other family occupying reservation # 2 won't be coming after all. I am heart sick. I haven't a clue as to what to do now. Should we try selling the reservation in the rent/trade board or isn't that allowed? If it is how do we do this? Could someone be kind enough to explain this procedure step by step? Also are there any other options open to us besides losing these points altogether? I am so confused I cannot even think straight today. Thanks for any help that can be given.
Yes, you can offer the reservation for rent on the rent/trade board because it is within 30 days of check in date. You meet all the criteria to list the ressie (number of posts, Dis member for more than 6 months, etc). First you need to decide how much to ask for the reservation. Since it is so close to check in, I would recommend requiring full payment immediately. You would then call MS and change the names on the reservation.
