Points Holding

I was thinking of.taking a day off the end of my vacation. Does the 30 day change rule encompass the entire reservation starting with the check in day? I am scheduled to check in on October 7 and depart on October 14. If I change that to check out on the 13th, will that day go into the holding account?

Yes the points would go into holding. Here's what the member website says:

Modifying a Reservation

30 days - 1 Day Before Check-in - All Vacation points will be placed in a Holding Account in which the Use Year Falls. If the new reservation uses fewer Vacation Points than the original reservation, the remaining Vacations in the Holding Account will expire at the end of your Use Year.

Yes the 30 day change rule encompass the entire reservation starting with the check in day.

Thanks for the info, guess I will have to just "suffer" through one more day at Disney.
