New to trying renting DVC - but have gone to the world many times. We are definitely going this January. would like to get standard or if not available, "prefered" studio at Boardwalk Villa for 1/11 to 1/16. Thanks so much!

Hi,
I saw your post for rental points for a DVC. We are looking for a rental December 16-22, 2010. I'm not sure exactly how it works but would like to go to Animal Kingdom Villas. It will just be my 5 year old son and I so we could do a studio or 1 bedroom and a savannah view or club room would be great. I checked the points chart and it looks like we would need 94 to 112 points for something like that. Can you please let me know if that is possible?

Just to respond to the last few posts...the 118 points that I have are holding points, meaning I can only make a reservation for anytime within the next 60 days. This means if you are requesting dates in December and January, I am going to have to wait until the 60 day window to call for you.

Hi! I am interested in booking a 1 bedroom villa (standard view) at AKV from 1/7-1/12/11. I that is unavailable my second option would be a 1 bedroom villa (standard view) at BWV on those same dates. I am wondering if I could book this since I would need to check out on the 12th and the points expire on the 11th? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If your points are still available and don't mind calling again, I would take any available studio: BLT (Std or Lake), BCV, BWV, OKW, SSR, and VWL from 11/3 to 11/8 (5 nights).
