Points for Deluxe Accomidations?

You used to be able to use the points calculator to determine the number of points needed to stay at the GF, POLY, and CR. Can you no longer use points for this? I am interested in a two bedrm suite at the Poly in Oct and I can't find the number of points required. At $1350 a night, I am sure it would be cheaper to use points. Any ideas?

You can still use points to stay at the GF, CR & the Poly. However, the new planner does not list the points required for a 2 bedroom suite. I don't recall that members can book the suites for points. However, you should call MS to be sure. Even if you can use points for suites, you'd have to get the number required from them anyway.

The points charts don't have suites. They probably figured no one would use points for them when they could stay at the DVC resorts in a 1 or 2 bedroom. The points would be astronomical - a Royal Palm Club room at GF is 70 points on weeknights during value season, 126 on weekends. The rack rate is $640 plus tax, so if available it would probably be double those points. A 2 bedroom at VWL would only be 32/61 during choice season, you could add a studio for 12/23
