We have a vacation planned for these dates at the BW 2 bedroom standard. In comparison to BLT, I'm even happier about owing at BW!

I was pretty excited to see the points actually.

We have an 8 night trip planned for April/May 2009 at BCV, 2 BR. When I used the point calculator for the same trip at BLT, 2BR standard view the points were EXACTLY the same -- 366!!

Now, I know it is standard view and I am a bit confused why the computer let me plan a trip that won't be possible (BLT opens in September 2009!!) but it was nice to see that it was doable!

SOME of the points aren't actually too bad. But we still like our BWV SVs - more value per point for us. We spend more time at Epcot than anywhere else, so BLT would just be an occasional night's stay (if/when available) for the "Wow, I'm Right Next To The MK And On The Monorail" DVC experience.

There isn't a chart up, but you can access the points with the interactive point calculator on the dvc member website.

They go on sale Sep 21 to existing DVC members. If you buy 100 or more points as an add-on, you will get $5 off per point, no other incentives. Points cannot be used (anywhere) for any reservations yet, which they will start taking for BLT in March for Sep 09 opening

You can call your guide and "prepurchase" now - so you don't have to call on Sunday, but the paperwork won't start until then. My guide said it will be out to the public after 2 weeks.

Amen. I ran my dates: 10/30/08 - 11/8/08 (using next year's table for the same weeks) and there is a 50 point difference for a 1 bedroom standard view at BLT vs. BW.

Where you would make out better (assuming a 1 BR at the BLT will sleep 5) is that if you are having 5 people, you would need a 2 BR at BW, and not at BLT. Since my MIL likes to pop in whenever we are there, that would avoid me having to use extra points to get her a studio.
