Points at different resorts

Me again..
Just another thought. If I were to call Brandon from DVC to ask even more questions about the point system .... I would ask if Disney offers incentives to buy certain points, such as 300 - 325. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Another thought. If we purchase resales would the 11 month booking window apply to each resort we own points with?

I just asked about this. The 11-month booking window applies to points owned at each individual resort, so you cannot use 300 points at BCV, for example, if you only have 200 points there - unless you wait for the 7-month window.

Except for those incentives made public and available to all, like the Magical Beginnings program, there are no special incentives. Disney also does not negotiate price. Basically, it follows a firm rule that everyone is offered the same deal and incentives to avoid anyone later telling another that they did better.

All rules of DVC including booking rules are the same regardless of whether you buy from Disney or resale. The 11 month rule stays the same; for example if you own 100 points at BWV and 100 at BCV, the 11 month window does not allow you to mix them together to reserve at one resort, e.g., only those 100 points at BWV can be used 11 months out at BWV.
