points and multi contracts

Points use question.
I have 2 BLT contracts I am have 6 points left on one and 50 on the other. I am going to bank them for 2010. I am going to call the 28th to make next years reservation. Here's my question I need 69 points for next years trip... so here's the question can I combine the six points with the 50 point contract and then 13 from either.... or do I have to use the 6 points with points from the same contract? anyone understand?

As i understand it you would use all your banked points first from both contracts, and then 13 points from one of your two 2010 allotments.

as long as they are the same UY and same resort, you can use up the banked points first, then move onto the current year points.

Just mention it to the CM when you do it. It is common practice, but they have missed on us once before and I had to call back to fix it.

More than just same UY. They must have the same contract number (the first five numbers of the contract, but with different numbers after the decimal points 12345.001 and 12345.002 would be the same contract. 12345.001 and 23456.001 would be different contracts)

If you buy an additional contract from DVC, they usually sell you the same UY to make it an add-on to your existing contract. If you buy a resale, you have to request that two contracts with the same UY be made into one contract.

If they are two separate contracts, you have to transfer one to the other (using your once a year transfer in or out for both in the process) while they are current year points. If you bank them, you can't transfer them.

Thank you very much. they are all the same. I originally bought resale but I added on BLT so they are all the same contract with xxxxx.0 xxxxx.1 and xxxxx.2.

If they are all under one master contract and all the same resort, they simply function as one 125 point contract except behind the scenes and your question is moot. If they are technically separate master contracts but the same resort then the best option may be to transfer from one to another THEN bank them.
