Point Transfer ?

I have 200 points at BCV. My friend has points at SSR. We have different use years. If he transfers some points to me are they in my use year window for the 11 month window at BCV? (Sometimes the question itself is hard to ask!)

So - If I needed 120 pts for my ressie in DEC at BCV and he transfers 60 to me to get me to 120, can I use those to make the ressie at BCV or are they still looked at as SSR points and I could only use them 7 months out?

They are still SSR points and you could use them only 7 months out at BCV,

I believe tranferred points retain there UY and home resort status.
