Point Transfer question

In Nov, 2009 I had points tranferred in to my DVC account that were used May, 2010. I have another trip in Nov/Dec, 2010 already booked with my Aug, 2010 UY points. I am now looking at adding one night to that trip but instead of borrowing points from my Aug, 2011 UY, I thought of getting a point transfer. I believe you are allowed only one transfer per UY. Since my last transfer was made in my Aug, 2009-Jul, 2010 UY, does that mean I have to wait until Aug 1, 2010 to make a transfer? Does the UY of the member I receive the point transfer from make any difference to me in this scenario? TIA for your help.

From my understanding of how the transfers work, t all depends on the UY of the points. If you got 2009 UY points transferred in your account, then that transfer would count as your 2009 UY transfer. If they were 2010 UY points, then it would count as your 2010 UY transfer.

If they were indeed someone's 2010 UY points, then you have used up your 2010 UY transfer and I don't think you can get points that will still be good for your Nov/Dec trip.

If it is the UY of the transfer points, then I am okay to transfer again now. If it is my UY and when the transfer points transaction occured, then I will have to wait until Aug, 2010.
