Is there anywhere where I can find the point totals for 2006? The point calculator here has calculations based on the 2005 points. Are the 2006 point values out yet??
The latest Vacation Planner is dated 2005-2006 and has the points for both years for all DVC resorts in it. Maybe you didn't get that mailing. It came out last fall, I believe.
Look up any post by Caskbill and click on the link in his signature line. That will take you to the download for his free DVC planner software. The software has all the point charts to 2054 incorporated into it, and it's a great tool!
Just use the 2005 points chart. If you aren't going in March, April or November, you don't even have to do any adjustmentsto it.
If you are going in March or April, you need to figure out when Easter occurs. The week before and the week after Easter are always Premier season. The rest of March and April will be Magic season.
If you are going in November, the day before Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving always fall in Magic season. Rest of November is Choice season.

This is worthwhile advice for anyone, and I heartily endorse Jim's suggestion. In fact, I'll make it even easier by posting Bill's website link: http://web.nalu.net/~wneth/dvcplanner.htm
Not only will it provide you with point charts, it will calculate the dates you would call at 11 months, 7 months and even day-by-day reservations.
Have I mentioned yet that it's awesome...and FREE? What can I say...I have to plug it and thank Bill any time the subject somes up!
I love Caskbill's planner and use it all the time, but if you ever just need to quickly check point costs on the internet I have a calculator that I keep up to date with the latest point charts. (currently through 2006). It also allows you to see the DVC resorts of your choice side by side for easy comparison.
