1. MGM to Fantasia - I'd either walk or boat to the Swan and then just walk across the street. From Fantasia to GF, you could either go back to MGM and take the bus back to the GF from MGM, or you could catch a bus at the Swan for the MK. From the MK, either boat or take the resort monorail back to the GF. Those options only work if the parks are still open when you want to return. If they are not, you'll have to walk back to the Swan and catch a taxi to the GF or you could bus to DD and transfer there to a GF bus. This last will take about an hour. The cab less than 15 minutes.
2. Take the bus from the AK to the AKL. From the AKL, either take a bus to DD and transfer to the GF bus there, or take a bus to the MK if it is still open. From the MK, either boat or monorail to the GF. A taxi is always an alternative, epecially if you are in a hurry to get back.
3. Yes, there is a boat between MGM and the WS entrance. It stops 3 times before getting to EPCOT - at Swan/Dolphin, YC/BC/BCV, & the Boardwalk. There is also a walking path. If you don't have to wait for a boat, it will take about the same amount of time to walk as to take the boat. I'd recommend the boat the first time (unless you are a little adventurous and not adverse to asking people for directions if you aren't sure how to go. You basically follow the path to the BWV, cut through the pool area and then follow the boardwalk to EPCOT.
4. Bus to DD/PI (get off at second stop). Do reverse for return trip. Or you can take a taxi one or both ways.
5. Not that I know of. However, National/
Alamo have a van that will pick you up at the GF and take you to the Car Care Center to pick up your car. The CCC is very close to the MK resorts - a 5 minute or less ride. Can't walk, though - no safe pathway.
Don't have "luggage transfer experience (to answer 6).
In general, to travel between resorts using Disney transportation, you need to use one of the parks or DD as a transfer point. Use DD as last resort as buses run less frequently to DD than they do to the parks. If you are in a hurry, take a cab. Expect to pay $12-$15 per ride between most points on WDW property.
