Hi everyone! I'm very new at this and am needing any help I can get. We're planning our first trip to Disney World in January '06 and I noticed the DVCPoint Charts only go through 2005. I'm trying to see how many points I would need to rent one of the DVC properties (haven't made up my mind yet which one and which days). We'll be arriving January 7th and departing January 16th. My husband and I will be bringing our 9 year old triplet sons and our 13 year old son. We'll be surprising them at Christmas. You'll be hearing more from me, because I have several questions I need help with. But for now I just need to know about the 2006 points. Anxiously waiting to hear back.
You didn't mention the resorts you were interested in. Here is the 2006 chart for SSR.
The points for 2006 are the same as for 2005 for all resorts, except the dates for the seasons have changed. If you have access to the 2005 point chart schedule, you can use this schedule of the 2006 season to look up points at all the resorts.
Feel free to download my DVC-Chart program. It has point charts for all current DVC resorts through the year 2054. It'll also show you what dates many holidays fall on. For example, when Easter is every year.
If you're really into DVC, then download the DVC-Planner program for a much more detailed program.
FYI, the point charts for January will always be the same. The only thing that changes is the dates for Easter and Thanksgiving, and the point chart dates will change in those areas of the calendar each year. All other points will remain the same for DVC resorts.
Thanks very much. I had seen mention to this program before but had not downloaded it. I've grabbed the Planner executable now, but the Chart executable doesn't respond, I'll try again later.
I haven't run them yet (I'm running Linux), but next time I boot into Windows, I'll fire them up.

I downloaded both of Caskbill's programs a few days ago and they are great! The planning program is loaded with features and easy to use. It even has a tutorial to walk you through everything. Well done, Caskbill!
