Point/Reprimands

So I have a couple questions (sorry if they've already been asked):

Ok, so I know how the point/reprimand system works for the most party (3pts in 30days, 6 in 60, etc)

My first question is more a clarification of a rumor I heard. Suppose you had 5 points on your record card, and out of those five, 3 caused you to get a reprimand. What would your record card look like following the reprimand? Would it be 1 reprimand and 2 points (as in, the reprimand replaced the points)...or would it be 1 reprimand and all 5 points?

Second question is how long does it take before the reprimand shows up on your record card? It is obviously not immediately, so I was just curious of an approximate time frame?

If I'm not mistaken... your leaders have to fill out something to give you the reprimand. I've heard of people never getting a reprimand when they deserved one because their leaders didn't fill one out.

I never received a reprimand (and for the record, never deserved one either) so I can't tell you what it looks like on your record card but I think it would replace the three points. And I'm pretty sure it'd show up the minute it's put into the computer. When you're late I'm pretty sure it shows up as soon as you clock in, because a girl I worked with got there late and it was the last time she could be late and she never even got to work and she was termed that day.

For the record card - not positive, but I believe the points remain. So it would look like:

9/13/11 - Late .5 point
9/20/11 - Call In 1 point
9/21/11 - Call In 1 point
10/1/11 - Late .5 point
10/4/11 - Attendance Reprimand

Once you get a reprimand, those points cannot be used to count against another reprimand, but they wouldn't disappear. Again, this is an assumption.

As for the time it takes to get a reprimand...

There is a system tracking your points, so it would take at least a day for the system to be triggered. Then the reprimand is sent to the appropriate person (not always the managaer), and then that person would notify the managers there is a reprimand. Then the Managers need to track your schedule and have you physically sign the form. They submit the form to that point person again, and then it will show up on your record card.

A lot of places will get the done in a day or two, some it may take a week.

Once you have the points for a reprimand, your manager will issue you a reprimand. They'll have you fill out a bit of paperwork, then they'll give you a paper reprimand with a list of points-gathering incidents.

At this point, your count resets to 0 and you start anew. If you have 3.5 points (IE: You're sitting at 2.5 due to a late-for-shift then miss a day) then the count is also reset to zero - the half point doesn't carry over. When the reprimand is issued, the count resets.
