Point Rental Question

I have rented points once before for Disneyworld but I am now looking to reserve for four nights at Disney's Californian. Question is, I wanted to rent in 2013. Is it too soon? Also, if someone posted that they have points for rent from a resort in Disneyworld, can I ask them and have them reserve in California? So confused...

Someone will come along and edit the details out of your post because you can't post "points wanted" posts. But to answer your question, no. It's definitely not too soon, in fact it may be too late to get a villa at VGC. Owners there and non-VGC members have been able to book for 2013 for a long time now ..

It's a VERY small resort, so you may be out of luck.

Just did a quick check using the on-line booking tool and this would be the case.

There are 23 dedicated 2-bedroom units, 23 lock-off 2-bedroom units (studio and 1-bedroom w/connecting door), and 2 grand villas (three bedroom).
