I'm purchasing this Wednesday and was wondering once I put my deposit down do I automatically get the 2010 point charts? Does anyone have the 2010 points for Disneyland Paris resorts and the International Interval charts? What countries does the International Intervals charts pertain to?

dvcnews has them for 2009...but that's about it.

DVC no longer trades through II. all trades are through RCI now.

it will vary by time of the year and so forth - you should be able to find this on the member site, though.

Take a close look at trade availability and the true cost of using points outside of WDW or DL. Most seasoned DVCers will tell you that using your points outside of WDW and DL is not a good value and that you might be better off using cash.

of course that's not what they tell you when they sell you the dvc

It usually makes more sense $-wise to rent out points or do a transfer of points to another member for the amount of points needed for the trip you'd want to book outside of DVC resorts and then take that cash and book a cash ressie on your own; typically you'll have $ left over too.

Here's a link to the point charts for the Disney Collection, World Passport Collection, and Adventurer Collection. The 2010 charts are further down the page. There is also the 2011 point chart for Disney Cruise Line (part of the Disney Collection), but no charts as yet for 2011 for everything else.

op would need to be recognized as a member to access member website which they'll probably be able to do just after their purchase on Wednesday, have to get code from DVC to activate
( think they're buying direct from Disney )
