Point holding - From booking home resort to 7 month mark booking

Hey Everyone I'm new to the DVC world,

I'm sorry if this is a repetitive question...

If I book at my home resort at 11 months, but decide to change resorts at the 7 month mark. Will my points be held?

If you mean will they go into holding, no, that only happens if you cancel or change a reservation that requires less points, 30 days or less before the trip.
