Is there a point chart posted somewhere? The only chart I see on DVCmember.com is for basic rooms.

Thanks!

Do you mean a one or two bedroom suite at DL hotel or GC (before the villas open)? If so, you have to call MS and they will give them to you -- sometimes you have to insist that they really do exist. Also, a word of warning, if you book a suite at GC (and maybe DL hotel, too) only DVC in California can book them via conference call with MS so if you are programmed to call at the crack of dawn EST, like many DVC folks, you need to wait until later in the day.

We have a one bedroom suite at GC in June on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday night and I think it was 210 points -- my 200 developers points from VGC and I had to borrow some from my VWL because I had used all of my points for a big trip in December.

Have fun planning!

So..it is 70 points a night????? A regular room is like 26 a night, right?

Yep, it is a big point burner. But they didn't offer the cruise incentive when I purchased and I couldn't have used it in the time allotted if they had offered it because I have a big WDW trip in December. We had just returned from having 2 rooms at GCH concierge for 151 points each so the suite didn't seem that bad. I figure it's a once in a lifetime deal being in a suite in the hotel, I couldn't use the points any other way (don't like RCI) and it is a nice way for us to kick off our summer. It's not for everyone though.

I'll have 120 DP I'd like to use up at GC. Three nights..how much was concierge level? I'm tryiing to use all the points but regular room is too low and suite is too high :)

It was 151 per room for Weds, Thurs, Fri in December. It was fun. We are glad that we did it once but I wouldn't do it again at GCH. You probably already know to watch the fireworks early in your trip on the balcony because at DL they often cancel the fireworks at the last minute.

Our points in June are 218 for the same nights for a one bedroom. Again, it is a once in a lifetime deal for us. I will happily use my DVC points for a two bedroom for the next 50 years or so.

Enjoy your planning and welcome home!

I'm booked! :woohoo: It was 126 points for Concierge for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (Sept 6, 7 & 8...Labor Day weekend...so I can be there on my birthday) I had to borrow 1 point from my OKW points so glad I had that. The suite rate was way too much for me. I don't think I'll ever do Concierge again, but it will be fun to try once!

We're going to try it once too. Well, actually we were just at GC earlier this month. They upgraded our room to one on the concierge level but we did not have access to the concierge lounge. The room was great though. Nice garden view but could also see Downtown Disney and fireworks at DL. Also, the beds had nice down comforters. We are going in October and had planned to have two standard rooms (dd and dsil are coming along). After talking to dd we decided to change the reservation to one room....concierge garden view. We were using 332 points for 2 standard rooms for 6 nights. Now we are using 220 points for 1 concierge garden view room for 5 nights. With the remaining points (+ an additional 20pts.) we were able to get two standard view rooms for two nights in November. For the October trip it will be nice to not have to pack along our usual breakfast treats, snacks, drinks and water bottles. :goodvibes
