Today, the Grand Californian 2021 point schedule was updated from what was earlier published. (GCV point schedule is now the same for 2020 and 2021). Here is my point balancing calculation showing the difference in points by resort with this update. Overall, I'm showing a very slight decrease in points of 12,398 on almost 77.5 million points or .00016.

Does this include the impact of 2020 being a leap year?

If you are trying to show that the total number of points to book the entire resort for every night remained the same, you need to count every lock off as a 2 bedroom and use a "base year" (not the actual calendar year) to make the calculations for each chart. The base year is one that has the maximum possible number of Friday & Saturday nights.

Carol, I used the same base year 2021, and applied the 2020 and 2021 point schedules to It. The only point difference should be the change in schedule. 2021 has 105 weekend days and 260 weekdays. The analysis doesn't double count lock-offs but only considers them as 2 bedroom units not a studio plus and 1 bedroom. Hopefully this helps.
