My boss brought in a poinsetta plant for me . . .it was kinda droopy to begin with . . .this morning it was really droopy . . .

Anyone know how to get it to a nice full plant? I watered it and hopefully it'll come around . . .We only have flourescent lighting here and I didn't want to take home the plant until 12/23.

Just keep it watered, they are water sensitive. If it goes too long without water it will drop its leaves. Doesn't mean it is dead or dying, just a response to no water. They will releaf out.

I'm not an expert with them, but I did have one in the office last year and it needs a lot of water. One Monday morning I came in and my poor plant looked dead since it didn't have water over the weekend. But I put a lot in that morning and it perked up pretty fast.

i am not sure about poinsettia's but i have a couple plants in my office that are only exposed to florescent light and they seem to be doing fine.

Personally I think there's nothing wrong with radar detectors...oops wrong Wish Upon a Star thread.

Watering it will bring it back...just don't overwater so the soil is mushy. That won't do any good. Make sure it's always damp.
