we just returned from Disney. we loved POFQ. WE were only there for 2 nights as we had a house rental. we would definitely return to POFQ. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is great for children. A plus from us.

Is there a consensus as to which is the best building for overall comfort
and user friendliness

We loved Building 2. Close to main building, and the pool, and no parking lots close by. We faced a pretty little courtyard.

Our visit was Feb 2003; we had no problems with housekeeping or the condition of the room. Sorry to hear of OP's bad experience, I would have been unhappy too.

We just upgraded to POFQ from ASMo for our trip in July using the 7 for 5 deal. This is a resort I have always wanted to stay at and I am very excited. Our original plan was to stay in the Toy Story Building of ASMo because our 4 yr old DD loves Buzz but there were no rooms there for the discount; only the music or sports buidling. This may sound silly but I have no interest in those buildings, only the Movies one. When I discovered we could upgrade without increasing the price of our trip I went for it. I keep reading that this is also a good resort for young kids. Keep posting your expereinces. I love to read them!

I am so sorry to read about all the bad experiences at POFQ. Our family traveled there from March 30 - April 7th and we absolutely FELL IN LOVE with it!!!!! We had the most wonderful, warm CM check us in. We had advised them it was our dd's 5th bday and they sent a singing telegram to our room with an autographed photo of Belle & The Beast. We had 2 connecting rooms in Bldg 6 and we LOVED IT! Our rooms were very clean each day, towel animals on 4 days, plenty of towels daily and lots of toiletries and extra coffee too! Our youngest got sick one day (all over the bed!) and they quickly came and changed up all the linen and sprayed everything down with Lysol for us and made sure all was okay before they left. Anything we needed, they quickly tended to. Anything we wanted, we received quickly and with a huge smile and great attitude! The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were very comfortable for us. We never waited for more than 10 minutes for any bus. Our gang really wants to return there again SOON, but our goal is to stay at all the resorts at least once before going back and doing any of them again! It kills me to do so since I DREAM of POFQ often!!! LOL Luckily we are on our way back in June (altho staying at POP), but I will get my WDW fix either way!!! Maybe I will fall in love with Pop too?! LOL

We stayed there at POFQ from (4/25-5/2) room 1209 and found it to be as good as CBR was last year. It was just the right size for us. The mousekeeping was adequate. We usually returned to our room by 1 pm every day and found everything was completely done. They even kept me up in those coffee packets as i am a heavy coffee drinker in the morning.
