Which building is the best, in relation to the buses at the French Quarter half of the hotel, and at the Port Orleans area, which would you all suggest. Thanks.

you really cannot go wrong with any of the buildings. The most you will ever have to walk is ~3 - 4 minutes. It's a very small resort which is one of the reasons that it is my favorite.

If you don't mind a smoking optional room with a courtyard view, they building 4 at PO-FQ is the closest to the bus stop and main building. For non smoking, water view, then ask for building 5.

As for PO-R, building 14 is the most convenient to the bus stop and main building, and Magnolia Terrace is close to the bus stop, and main pool, and about a 5 minute walk to the main building.

I agree with kdibattista, you really can't go wrong with any building at POFQ. It too is a favorite of mine.

Love POFQ. Building 4 has non-smoking rooms also, very close to bus, food, and pool.

We just returned from 7 nights at the POFQ and requested Building 5 and just loved the location. We were within 2 minutes of the bus location, 10 steps from the pool and laundry and it was very quiet even with the pool open until midnight.
We are non-smokers and had requested building 5 and they were very accommodating to our request (and it was very very busy for this time of year!!).
