POFQ- which room to get us closest to boats!!

We are only staying for one night before our trip and have never stayed at POFQ and would love to try it out! I don't know much about the resort and have done research on these boards but have a bit of confusion on room types to book...since its only one night for us and we plan to go to DS...where would you choose if you only wanted to be a decent walk from the boats to DS? We don't care about view or sleeping arrangements (beds), just want a short walk to the boats! Thanks!!

If you book a River View Room and request Building 2 or 5 you will be extremely close to the Boat Dock.

thank you! so river view is the way to go to get a room close? Or is there a chance standard view will let us be where we need to be?

Doubtful, since standard view overlooks the parking lot.

And just fyi, the FQ is a small resort, and truly the walk anywhere is pretty short.

I was super close to the dock in 2014: ground floor building 2 facing the pool area (ground floor rooms there are garden view). If you don't want to splurge on River View, I'd book a Garden View room and request building 2 close to the boat dock.

Buildings 1 and 3 for standard or GV in Bldg 2. But POFQ is a very small resort and nothing is more then a 5 minute walk.
