POFQ vs PORS ?

Hey guys,
I have a reservation at POFQ but have heard that the amenities of PORS would be available to me. This doesn't sound right to me as I know from past experience at other Disney resorts that they don't allow this. Are the PO resorts different?

Yes, the PO resorts are different. They are sister resorts so you can use the amenities of both resorts regardless of which one you are staying in. That even includes the pools.
That is important when staying at POFQ which only has a food court and one pool. It is only about a 10 minute walk between the two resorts.

Hi. You can use the amenities of both resorts. Staying at the POR we usually take the FQ bus back from the parks and walk over because it is so close. Never any bus lines for the FQ. They both are beautiful resorts.

Just did this on my last stay, in fact. It is a bit unique, so you are right to ask. But, you will be just fine. It is like Swan and Dolphin, Yacht & Beach Club and the All Stars as far as sharing. And, the walk between the resorts along the river is quite nice (with a few benches scattered along the way to help).

One word of caution - many people use the Disney Springs boat to travel between the two resorts when there is time. It's a lovely way to do it. But, they have modified some routes at times. Be sure to check with the boat captain to be sure a boat you are boarding will stop at the other part of Port Orleans.

DITTO THIS! LOL! I didn't and ended up with a nice round trip to Disney Springs!!!

Great resorts! The walk is lovely n easily navigated in lighted walking trail between the two. 10 minute leisurely walk. Enjoy
