We just returned 2 days ago from POFQ, so I can tell you a few things about that resort. By the way I voted for CBR - I thought children yours ages would enjoy the playing at the sand beaches - I did stay at CBR twice before but it was 12 -15 years ago just after it opened. So don't feel like I can accurately comment on the current state of that resort.
Anyway, in my mind POFQ's best "feature" is it's small size. We stayed in Building 1, parking lot side - which is one of the furthest spots from the food court, it was at most a 2 minute walk.
The play area was very modest (to be kind). Any daycare, church or public school in any city would have a nicer, larger playground.
The pool and especially the slide was a big hit with our 6 year old. The 3 yr old was afraid to go down the slide. The pool depth is 3'3" to 4'9". The kiddie pool again is "modest" - it is a 20' diamater circle with water depth 12" to maybe 18".
We took the boat to POR and ate at the food court there once. It had the same offerings as POFQ, was twice the size, and had lines twice as long - stick with POFQ for the food court.
All in all our trip was nice, but we will probably choose a different resort next time. POFQ just did not seem to be set up to cater to small children very well. The only thing real positive about it in my mind is the small size - i.e short walks. POFQ shares buses with POR. POFQ is the first spot for pickup and the first for drop off, that was nice - at least going to the parks you never have to stand.
Our kids enjoyed ASMO better than POFQ even without the pool slide.
