POFQ to Polynesian

We are leaving in less than 3 weeks for our Disney trip!!! We will be staying at the POFQ, but will be attending the Spirit of Aloha show one night for our anniversary. What will be the best and fastest way to get from POFQ to the Polynesian and how much time should we leave for transportation?? Our kids are booked into the kids' activity center for 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.

The fastest way would be to take a cab. Assuming you want to use Disney transportation, I suggest taking a bus from POFQ to MK and taking either the resort monorail or boat over to the Poly.

Agree that a cab (or driving your own car) would be the best and fastest, taking only about 15 minutes.

Taking Disney transportation you'll have to allow an hour - perhaps more. It just depends on your luck in arriving at the bus stop to the MK right before the bus comes - or just missing it and having to wait for the next one. Once at the MK you've got a couple of options for getting to the Poly; ferry (or express monorail) to TTC and a short walk to the Poly, local monorail three stops to Poly, or launch to Poly. The timing for all three options are again based on your luck.

I hate to hijack this thread, but I don't want to clutter up the forum with another similar one.

I need to get from ASMo to 'Ohana for a 9am ADR. Will all these options be up and running by that time? Also, if an Epcot bus happens to come by before an MK one, would it be just as fast to take that to Epcot, the express monorail to TTC and walk to Poly? Looking at the map it seems ASMo-Epcot would be a shorter bus ride.

Yes, that should work for a 9am ADR at the Poly. I'd probably go the route of Epcot and monorail to TTC if that bus showed up first.
