POFQ to Disney Springs to Typhoon Lagoon?... A bit of help please.

I am helping my friends plan their multigenerational family trip, 20 people. They are going to be staying at POFQ, and wanting to go to Earl of Sandwich for breakfast then straight over to Typhoon Lagoon for the day.

I personally have never gone directly to the water park from Downtown Disney back in the day or from new Disney Springs, But I can remember leaving Disney Spring ( when it was called Downtown Disney) and stopping for pick up at one of the water parks on the way back to the resort a couple of times but not consistently.

Here's the plan that they want.

Taking the boat from POFQ to Disney Springs.

Having breakfast at Earl of Sandwich.

Catch a bus directly from Disney Springs to Typhoon Lagoon

Is there bus service directly to the Typhoon Lagoon from Disney Spring?

or

Will they have to go back to their resort or any resort for that matter to catch a bus to Typhoon Lagoon?

If there isn't direct service to Typhoon Lagoon, what would be the best, and quickest way to get there.

or

should they just have breakfast at the resort food court then use the buses, and save Earl of Sandwich for another day?

I can't help with the Typhoon Lagoon transportation but the boats from PO don't start running until 10 am. If they use that, they will be getting a late start.

There is direct bus service from Disney Springs to Typhoon Lagoon. That's the only way they are going to get there, unless they drive or take cabs. If they want to be at the waterpark for opening, I would take the BUS from the resort to Downtown Disney, transfer to the TL bus and go from there. Eat breakfast at the resort, or wait for the yummy donuts at the waterpark!

Thanks for the time info, for some reason I had in my notes 9:00 am... I will have to update it. After talking to her, I think they are just going to grab breakfast in the food court, then use the resort bus over to the water park. Then head for Disney spring another morning for Earl of Sandwich.

They have to go through Disney Springs, there is no direct bus from FQ to Typhoon Lagoon now.

I talked to my friend last night, and they have decided to rent 3 of those big passenger vans, as they have added some more days. They are going over to Cocoa Beach, to Kennedy Space center, and let the kids see the ocean and build sand castles. Then to Universal for 2 nights before checking in at Disney. Her Husband and Son will drop 2 of vans off when they leave ( they are going home earlier than the rest of the group), then one of her daughter in laws will drop of the last one when she leaves for a conference which is only 2 nights until groups checks out, then the rest of them will go Magical Express to the airport. So they are going to use the vans to get to the water parks.
