POFQ Scat Cat Age Limit

My daughter, who will turn 16 during our trip, loves Jazz music. Will she be allowed to hang out in the Scat Cat lounge for a while after we get back from the parks in the evenings?

Years ago I took my son there who played jazz fiddle. We chatted with the musician that had the gig at the time and he allowed a sit-in. Sit-ins are generally against Disney policy. No guarantees but if she has her horn you might ask in advance. At that time the stage area was halfway into the lobby so they really couldn't serrate out folks under age.

When we were there in April, jazz was not the featured entertainment. Eliot Dyson used to be a great jazz artist, but has not been there for quite a while.

IIRC, there is no age limit. The lounge at POFQ is not like a traditional lounge. It is open and inviting to everyone who walks by. There is a bar, which is probably for the over 21 set, but the tables are free to all. We saw families with youngsters enjoying the entertainment. It has been a few years for me, so this could be changed now.
