Is there enough room for a pack-n-play in the standard rooms at POFQ? Or would we be better off getting a king bed room with the pack-n-play?
Thanks!
Well, just called to upgrade to a king and they didn't have any available at POFQ, so we got switched to CBR. Not sure if that is going to be a good or bad thing!

I think there is plenty of room for a pack and play in the standard rooms. You even should have some room to spare after that.

Here's some photos of the room we had last September. It might give you a better idea of the room size.

I've never needed one at WDW, but my understanding is a pack-n-play will fit.

There would be more space for Joe's & my fluffy sized posteriors in the King bed, but yes the pack and play would fit in either size room.

Seriously, if you can afford the upgrade to a King, do it. I don't know how any couple can vacation comfortably in one double bed.

I agree the King size bed is great for couples. But......

Just an FYI

A lot of the rooms with a King size are handicapped accessible so you may end up in a King room with a rollin shower and no bath tub.

Also if you end up with a handicapped accessible room that has a rollin shower your bathroom area will be larger but the sleeping area in your room will be smaller.
Here is the layout of connecting rooms in a value resort. The room with the 2 double beds is a standard room and the room with the King bed is a handicapped accessible room with the roolin shower:

We stayed at POFQ last May/June with a pack'n'play, and had plenty of room. Much better than when we tried to cram it in at Pop Century! We didn't have a problem at POFQ, we didn't trip over it or anything. Have fun!

Basically there is more floor space in a king room @ POFQ (or any of the other moderates for that matter) than in a standard room. We've stayed at POFQ many times (I'd guess 8 or 9), king room half those times -- we've never had a handicapped-accessible king room.

I'm not sure how big a pack-n-play is or how much space you want or need around it -- I guess that you'll have enough space in either a standard or a king room at the moderates. I will second the thoughts about 2 adults sleeping in the double beds - don't highly recommend it if either of you are pooh-sized or if both of you are over 5'6" - there just isn't much space for sleeping :)

Guess we'll try to upgrade to King. It will give us a little more room and DH is 6'4", so the king will probably be the best way to go.
Thank you to everyone for the info!
