POFQ - Room request?

I'm just about to contact the hotel to ensure that the cribb that we requested on our initial booking will be in our room when we arrive, also for a ground floor room, so it will be easier with 2 pushchairs!

Are there any particular rooms/blocks that are newer/better than others? Just thought it was worth an ask?

Any help would be great.

I love 5 because it is so close to everything, only a 1 or 2 minute walk to pool, food, bus, boat.

We were in building 18 and thought it was great! Close to the main building and the bus stops.

There is no building 18. Only 1-7.

You're thinking or Riverside not POFQ.

We like bldg 5- ground floor. We have also stayed in bldg 4 and 6 --both were good locations. POFQ is so compact that I think most room locations are wonderful.

POFQ was recently renovated (a few years ago) and everything was done at once so ythere are no "newer" rooms. The only difference is that some have two full (double) beds and a few have queen beds. Other than that they are all the same.

Keep in mind that with the free dining promotion they may be very busy. While they will try to honor your requests -- it may not be possible. All bldgs have elevators so getting to rooms is easy. And, if you can don't like the room .you are given -- you can ask to be changed. That said, there are times when you may have to wait until the next day depending on the properties occupancy.
