Stayed at POFQ 10/2-10/6
WOW, this was the first time at the resort and i was blown away. Even my DW was in shock at how nice the resort was. we always had stayed at Value resorts and CSR was our first mod resort which was an ok experience. we heard so many good things about the resort and they didnt lie, this resort was great. we got a standard room on the first floor of building 4. we were very close to the lobby and transportation. just walking around the resort was fun. taking the boat from the resort to Disney Spring was a great experience. kids loved the splash park. buses came at good times, only one time we decided to drive our self to the park was for AK. bus was going to be 30 min wait which seemed like the norm for the resort for AK.
Food Court
so i was able to see the old food court getting remodel and im not in construction but i would be shocked if they finished by this year. all i saw was framing and some walls up. thats not to say that they have a late push to get it done but if you are hoping the food court will be done soon i would hold your breath.
Temp Food Court
only time i saw it busy was for breakfast. the line was out the door into the lobby. other than that it was pretty easy to get in and out of. interesting thing about the drink station was if you had purchases a regular drink cup (not Refillable Mug), the cup also had a chip on it. it only allows 3 refills for the hour. We only used the food court twice. breakfast once and lunch once.
this is a great resort to stay at and we will definitely look to booking here again. i know people are worried about the temp food court. i wouldnt let that hinder your stay here. breakfast is the only time you really have to worry. which at any resort that is the most busy time anyways. majority of people eat breakfast at the resorts and then spend the rest of the day at the parks. Cant wait to go back!!!!
