POFQ Questions

Hi Everyone, We are staying at the POFQ in December and had a few questions about the resort's air conditioning.

I noticed that it is a wall unit, is it very noisy and does it keep the room cool and not sticky? I am always hot and cannot sleep when I am hot. I have also stayed in hotels that had wall units before and everything had a humid, sticky feel to it, I hope this is not the case because we are so looking forward to our trip. We stayed at the Pop in July and it had more of a central AC system which was great but would not go under 68 but I was never hot. Thanks.

We stayed at the POFQ the end of June beginning of July.
The air conditioner was not noisy at all. It kept the room a nice temp. In fact I was a bit cold, but since my daughter liked it the way it was I put my warmer jammies on.

Let me just say that I was in bldg 5 5105 and in the mornings before we left for the day I turned the air all the way on to cold expecting that in the heat, it would still be a bit warm. NOT!! you could make that room nice and cold, I HATE to be hot when I sleep, no, let me rephrase that, if I am unable to be buried under a sheet, blanket and comforter and be comfortable, ITS TOO HOT! and no one sleeps!

I had to turn the air to warmer in the mornings because my husband refused to get out of the bed till I warmed the room up a bit!!
