POFQ or POR

Waaahoooo!!! Our next trip wasn't planned until 2007, but DH and I decided we'd go back June 2006!!!!

Trying to decide between POFQ or POR. We will be traveling with our DD5. Accessibility is very important to us and I understand they share the same buses. Would FQ be better because it's always the first picked up and first dropped off? Which has the better pool?

What do you all like/dislike about them?

I would say FQ due to your DD's age. She will really like the pool. It will also be easier to get around the resort. You probably will get a seat on the bus being picked up first. I would vote for FQ. We actually prefer the Riverside, but our kids are older. We visited FQ and saw lots more kids. She might find more children her age to play with at the pool and playground. Either way, you can't go wrong.

I love the size of the FQ and the pool is great. Here are some of my pictures from my trip in May Lynn's French Quarter Pictures

My daughter 3.5 yo and I are going back in October and she can't wait to see the food court. There is a lot to look at.

POR because

1. They have 6 pools compared to one. When the main pool gets crazy, we use the quiet pools near the rooms. You can walk or bike over to POFQ if you want to check out the dragon slide.
2. They have a better food court.
3. More bus stops.
4. Sit down restaurant.
5. Laundry rooms near all the quiet pools.

We have always seen tons of kids when we have been at POR.

We chose POR, mainly because I think our DD6 will like the theming better. Not sure she'd like the Mardi Gras thing at FQ, but just a personal choice. I am sure both are great.
