POFQ or Coronado Springs? Help!

CSR is the only moderate resort that has a fitness center. I always like to work out early in the morning before everyone wakes up to go to the parks. But in this case I would probably stick with POFQ because the rooms are practically new whereas CSR rooms are now about 3 years old. Three years old isn't that old, but there's something to be said for rooms that have just been refurbished.

I've never stayed at either resort. I did have reservations for CSR until a couple weeks ago. I switched to POR because we've stayed there before and loved it. My main reason for the switch was I wanted double sinks. With the 4 of us we just need that extra sink. So I would choose POFQ cause I could still visit POR's food court which we loved and use the pools and have my double sinks.

I've stayed at both and would probably choose Coronado over POFQ. The two things I did like about POFQ were the boat to downtown and the fact that it is a fairly small resort. I enjoyed the pools at both hotels. Coronado was very picturesque though compared to POFQ.

One thing I DON'T like about POFQ is how small it is. We visited POFQ in September while we were staying at POR. It was low crowd season and POR felt empty but over at POFQ, it felt busy - since they only have one bus depot, it was always crowded, the food court was so busy we had to eat in the lounge, etc. The larger resorts allow people to be more spread out and it feels like you have the resort to yourself when you go during low crowd season.

We were in the same boat as you when we booked our trip for this month. We are going & spending 4 days in the parks to celebrate our 20th anniversary & had already been on a big vacation in August. We usually stay at CSR, but wanted to stay at POFQ to make it different & we noticed the housekeeping has been going downhill at CSR. Stayed at POFQ a few times yrs. ago & loved its small size, etc. When we went to book it, they only had a garden view vs. the std. view at CSR. There was a $200 difference between the two, so to save $ we are staying at CSR & hoping that housekeeping has improved. If this was our main vacation I'm not sure what I would have done though.
