POFQ or CB for myself, DS (8), & DD (5)?

Okay... I was able to book Caribbean Beach for March 12-16 at $121.54 / night (including tax) using AP code. I am happy about it, but now am wondering if I should have tried for POFQ. If you were traveling alone with 2 children (ages 8 and 4) which would you choose and why? Is one really better than the other?...More spread out?... Better food and transportation? ...Etc. I booked CB mainly because I thought I had read that it had just been refurbished (sp?) and a tropical atmosphere is appealing right now (it's been in the 20's and 30's the last few days which is COLD for us southerners).

Although either would be great. I would probably choose POFQ just because of the size. You wouldn't have to worry about being a distance from the food court or pool because POFQ is half the size. The bus service is great. You share with POR but you are the first on and the first off. Also, I think kids the age of yours would love the dragon slide and the boat ride to DD. And best of all it is the sister resort to POR so you can walk over and enjoy that resort too!

I definately agree with soccer mom. POFQ is more manageable. My kids were the same ages as yours when we went and they loved it. You can also use the facilities at POR opening up more options. We loved the boat to DD. If I was by myself with the children I would stay at POFQ. We were just at CBR this past summer - Too spread out for young ones

I guess I will be the different one. I love CBR and I don't think that it is too spread out unless you get a bad village. We were in Martinique and right next to OPR and getting to the busses it was great. My children were 3 and 6 at the time. They loved it. We are planning to go back this summer as it is my choice for the mod. category.
