POFQ-open by May2004? What is being done, exactly?

I was thinking of booking this resort for our May 2004 trip, but I dont' know if it will be open by then. Anyoen ahve any idea? Also, waht is beign refurbished?Is it teh rooms? I always disliked the room pictures I've seen. Kind of blah...

I would like to know something, too. I had booked us for POR for next June but had to cancel. Now I am just taking a wait and see attitude until about November or December. Hopefully we will know more by then.

Just my 2 cents. I stayed in the French Quarter a few years ago and found the decor charming. The rooms were light, airy and the double pedastal sinks were really nice for getting ready in the morning.

The resort is very walkable and the grounds are great.
