POFQ boat to DTD - West Side??

If we want to go to Planet Hollywood for dinner from POFQ... does the boat stop at just the Marketplace side or does it also stop at the West Side?

there is a boat that goes there - I think it is the same boat. Your best bid is to ask the captain of the boat where it goes. If he says only marketplace - then ask about the West side. If he says no. then go ride the bus.

We took the boat several times from FQ to DTD. The boat only stopped at Marketplace and immediately loaded up the return passengers to FQ and POR.

i don't want to hi-jack this post but I see you've stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. For the past two years, we have stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort and loved everything about it. But, in 2008, we want to try something new.

We are definitely going to stay at Port Orleans but we aren't sure which section....French Quarter, Alligator Bayou or the Mansions.

Can you give me any info. on your stay. How were the buses, how was the food court, etc.

Thanks. So, I guess we'll take the boat to the Marketplace and walk to Planet Hollywood. It's probably less than a 10 minute walk anyway. Where does the boat drop you off in the Marketplace?

The boat drops you off right near The Rainforest Cafe.

the boat from pofq goes to marketplace.....
at the SAME DOCK....is another boat that goes to the west side...
then pleasure island...
Sometimes you get lucky and it is there already.

There is a boat that runs from Marketplace to the West Side. It starts running in the late afternoon (sorry i dont have an exact time). We took a boat from SSR to Marketplace and then took a boat from the Marketplace to the West Side (that was at 5:00). The boat has a green flag on it. If you ask the captains will get you on the right boat. Hope this helps!
