Due to mobility issues, we will be requesting a 1st floor room for this trip to POFQ. For those who have stayed at POFQ in a 1st floor garden view room, did you have a favorite room #?

It's such a small resort, I would just make your only request a first floor room. I wouldn't request a particular room number, if it's not available then you may end up not getting a first floor room.

We have stayed here a few times but usually request 2nd floor corner room. My concern is that a 1st floor room will have more foot traffic or be noisier than floors above.

Not a favourite room number, but building 5 is my favourite for garden view. It puts you close to the pool, hot tub, food court, movie and marshmallows. :)
Our last stay was building 5 which was great. Since this trip is in January we won’t be using the pool at all. I also Found that maintenance seemed to always be blowing leaves by The buildings facing the pools. I think with a 1st floor room that might be an issue.

My MIL and I were in 4133. We both were using mobility scooters. It was perfect. It wasn’t too far from the food court, and it was at the end of building 4 where a walkway went to the parking lot - and if you cut through the lot you were right at one of the bus stops. That made it perfect for us.

I go for walks in the morning and I notice those leaf blowers early in the morning around all the buildings, particularly in August, but not as much during our December trips. Maybe January is not a bad leaf blowing month? Lol. I don’t know.

We like building 4, the end close to main building and bus. It’s also close to the pool. You never know, some January’s we’ve been there and mid day it can get up to 80 and we swam. And a Soak in the hot tub is always nice after the parks.

This was the room I requested using Touring Plans. Thank you!

I hope you get it and enjoy it. We had booked a standard view and requested building 4 near bus stops. We were confused by the room assignment till we realised we’d been upgraded to garden view, and saw the bus stop was right through the lot. I would happily stay in that same area again.
