Podcast Cruise 2.0 Thread 4.0

It is with heavy heart that I let you all know that we will not be on the cruise.
With my sister in law's recent complete mastectomy, we need to head west to California for the holidays instead of south. Or we might have to stay home due to DH's work. Either way, we will be taking care of families for the holidays.
I hope that you all have an absolutely wonderful time and I can't wait to hear all the details to make me green with envy.

Sorry this is OT but some of you know I've been following Epic Mickey closely. New this week, Warren Specter is already talking "sequel" for this game.

And yesterday a collectors edition was announced. Cool stuff. Still no actual release date though. Probably some time in November as has been hinted.

For $69.99, the Epic Mickey Collector's Edition includes:

- Special packaging

- Disney Epic Mickey Game

- Exclusive 5 inch Collectible Vinyl Epic Mickey Figure

- Special Edition DVD with behind the scenes footage and additional marketing assets and videos

- Epic Mickey Stylized Wii Remote Faceplate

Sorry this is OT but some of you know I've been following Epic Mickey closely. New this week, Warren Specter is already talking "sequel" for this game.

And yesterday a collectors edition was announced. Cool stuff. Still no actual release date though. Probably some time in November as has been hinted.

I thought GameStop was publishing Nov. 2 as a release date?

Either way, I think Dachshund Claus is going to bring this and put it in the holiday pile. (Guessing a tree is out of the question with PCC 2.0 plans seeing as DAP derailed all decorating last year.)

Sometimes, I honestly have nothing to contribute to the thread. So, I have been a lurker. Then there are times, I am OT and can't contain myself on posting.

I am REALLY looking forward to this upcoming WDW trip and cruise. We went on the DVC cruise a few years ago and it was fun seeing familiar faces all over the ship. I keep envisioning the Sail Away Party in my mind. Those poor non-Diser cruisers. They are in for a treat! I assume we'll take over WaveBands every night. Now that DS5 is able to be in the Oceaneer's Club, we plan to have some nightlife fun while onboard. I can't wait! All our past cruises, we had to keep looking at our watch to get back to pick-up DS in Flounder's.

We are having a hard time trying to figure out our onboard, CC and Nassau itinerary/excursions because we don't know when they plan to do the talks and Jodi Benson concert. We don't want to miss them. We are coming up to being able to book our excursions soon. I know at one time, someone mentioned they would "most likely" do things during our Nassau day. Does anyone know for sure???????

We're all patiently awaiting details. There are already cruisers who have a high enough Castaway Club status that they can book excursions, but are hesitant to, due to the scheduling of DIS events.....hopefully soon........

My guess is that the boaed has been slow because we are all just waiting for information so we have a Cruise topic to chatter about!

I normally put up our tree right after Thanksgiving (use a fake tree) and then decorate the outside...I think this year things will get done early...2 weeks from Thanksgiving we leave, so that doesn't give us much time.

Knowing my daughter, she will start putting up the outside lights early in November so that after Thanksgiving she can work on the lawn ornaments....plus buying any gifts and wrapping them before we leave.....

I lurk alot also...sometimes there's just nothing to say other than "hi".....I'm not booking any excursions, but I am looking into getting a spa treatment for my daughter and myself (surprise for the DD) ....but I"m like you, I don't want to miss anything DIS related...guess I'll just wait it out and see.
