Hello All! Since I didn't get to stop by much this past week (pesky thing called work) I thought I'd stop in today to say hey.

Have a wonderful weekend! Next week for me at work will be crazy again so it may be next weekend before I can get back into Dis conversations again.

Kids add to the expense. If it were just DH and I, traveling often would be do-able. But with kids....

One of the reasons we only have one child is that two are a lot less portable. While we don't take him everywhere (he's staying with his grandparents on PCC 2.0) he is quite the experienced traveler.

The weekend did fly by. Back to the old grind today. PC 2.0 is not far away.

Let me warn everyone now....I'm going to be a huggin' fool during PC 2.0. So happy to see everyone!

My mother can pack for a week in a back pack. Her advice would be a pair of underwear and socks for each day, the pair of pants you're wearing + one more and three shirts--even for the 18 days Tracey is going for. I get my packing habits from my grandma. We both enjoy bringing everything, including the kitchen sink,

I am the same Todd. I am so happy John has gotten us an owners locker!

I am looking forward to a good week - my sister is on vacation this week, we are hoping for a beach day before I go back towork on Thursday.

Anyone else got the holiday on Monday? Beside you Katherine & John...I know you get it...

I've been spending the last few weeks getting everything in order for James and Madi to go to Japan. I got them sent off on Friday. They have arrived safely and are enjoying themselves. I've spent the last week getting Emilie ready for camp. Dropped her off two hours ago, and she is settled in and excited about her week at camp. They last thing she said to me was "Have fun in Disney World, Mom." And, I leaving in 14 hours. I have nothing packed. Nothing. Haven't even opened my suitcase. Suppose it's time to think about getting ready.

It's time to get packing now that you got everyone off on their respected trips. Though, I usually don't pack until the last minute (usually because I have to do laundry before I leave), but I am figuring out what I am going to take with me and putting stuff in a pile for several days in advance. My other philosophy is if I forget something, there is always Walmart.

I will start "packing" for the December trip as summer comes to an end. I will select certain warm weather clothes for the trip. They get set aside and not put into winter storage.

Getting DH to realize that we are not going to the wilderness... There are Walmarts for regular emergencies and hospitals for medical emergencies. And most of the travel is by interstate...
