After the gym workout, I went to TJ Maxx (right next door).

Browsing the food shelves (just the place to be after the gym) and I found a pineapple flavor Tortuga Rum Cake!

I read on the cruise board that people sample and often purchase them when (if) they get off the ship in Nassau. I can't wait to try it tomorrow! If I do like it, I need to remember that it is cheaper to purchase them from Amazon.com.

They are really sad, but just don't have the money to care for her. I already spent $1000 of my own money trying to get her better. It is the right thing to do, but sad none the less.

3/4 oz light rum
1 oz passion fruit juice
1 pina colada mix
1 oz orange juice
Preparation

Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously.

Serve in a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a wedge of tropical fruit.

Morning all! I hate working weekends. It messes everything up!

I appear to have managed to squeak in my GAD/GADD applications - we are scheduled for a Saturday at the end of March. Daffodils anyone?

I ate half of the Tortuga RUm Cake that I bought at TJ Maxx. Very moist and yummy.

The debate at home - is it soaked in rum, or is the rum baked in the cake thus reducing the power of the alcohol? Partner thinks rum could not be sold at TJ Maxx or else the kids would be buying lots of them to get buzzed. I think it is soaked in rum, thought it was just slightly "buzzy".
