It was 90 degrees in Phoenix when we were there over the weekend! Now back here it is around the mid 50's.

I had a cheese sandwich and applesauce for lunch.

I think that is a coincidence of epic proportions....

Happy Veterans/Armistice/Remembrance Day. Thank you to the veterans for your service. And to their families as well, they have un-heralded sacrifices.

You know exact how many days before we leave on this upcomming trip for DAP.
You know exact the days left until PCC2.0.
Do you know how many days exact before out April transatlantic trip also??

You are soooooo hooked on Florida/Disney now.
I can't imagine anymore that you have said in 2005: "honey a 10 day ticket with no experation, why do we need that we won't go back ever...."
Now we have for the second year our annual passes and you are counting the days for an upcoming trip and for a trip over a year away.

Christmas Carol in IMAX was good but some brought their youngin's and it was a bit dark/scary for I'd say those under 10. Some of the opening flying scenes made me a bit woozy Jim Carrey doesn't touch my fave: v.Muppets

New DQ Blizzard flavor for the season: Caramel Apple - and it's a keeper!

I'm hoping to see Christmas Carol at the weekend, I like scary and the book is so I think it's good they haven't 'kiddiefied' it - saying that I also LOVE the Muppets Christmas Carol really puts me in the Christmas mood

May I ask what is DQ Blizzard and what do they serve? I've never heard of them, are they a national chain? Whatever they are Caramel Apple ones sound amazing

Thanks for posting this. We lost my grandmother this year, but this put a smile on my face remembering how she would sell poppies every year with her friends in the VFW Auxilary.

I can't believe that people from the Netherlands would have annual passes. I thought APs were for people who lived close by and could go often. You two live a charmed life!

DQ is Dairy Queen, a soft serve ice cream/fast food chain here, and a Blizzard is soft serve ice cream mixed up with all sorts of ground up goodies....candy and stuff.

Hey there I'm glad it's Thursday and almost the weekend again.

Hopefully the cinema in our town will have a fairly early showing of Christmas Carol as we're seeing people in the afternoon. I also want to get some more Christmas shopping done

DH has tomorrow off so I'm taking it off too - TGIF for us! IHOP's ads for their seasonal specials are driving us mad so we're going for brunch tomorrow: egg nog, pecan pie, or peppermint pancakes! DH wants to see Astro Boy but it's already on matinee runs so we'll head there afterwards. Got some friends coming over tomorrow nite so I'll be making perogies when I get home.
