Somehow I thought this slide would be bigger. Is this the one for the kids? Do you have a photo of the adult slide?

There is no adult slide.

The prices are written in chalk. Do they change throughout the day?

How large are the specialty drinks? How many ounces?

I don't think the prices change throughout the day, but they could change from sailing to sailing. And if they have a special for the day they can switch the price easier that way.

As for size, I think it was a standard dixie cup size glass. I know I had quite a few of them at the party, and have picture evidence of such at work...

How did you get photos without people? Were you first on the island or last off?

My guess is early AM for the kids pool....as for the bar shot, doubt many people were crowding around the ceiling of the bar...

We had a great weekend, I thought the Princess and the Frog was excellent (a bit sad near the end ) We also got some fab pin trades from the Disney Store (I'll post a pic tonight) they are like cast member name tags (but smaller) with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto on them. From what I've heard this set is quite limited and hard to get them all but the guys in the Disney Store said they'd had all 5 for about 2 weeks - no-one else seemed to want them (and they don't seem to know/follow the rules as they let us get all 5 rather than just 2 each ) We actually saw one on E-bay for £24.99 start price (almost $40) and others with bids for £10 (about $15) They have also started a a set of TV cartoons, so far we've got Ducktales and Rescue Rangers, still to come are Goof Troop and Gummi Bears My favourite cartoons growing up

This week I am getting ready for my daughter's 9th bday & my 40th next monday. She is having her party saturday afternoon. I have 2 cakes & cookies to make this week.

I am off for a good start to what will be a good week. Positive thinking!!!

Had nice walks this weekend on our new x-country ski / snow shoe / walking trails. So nice to have a great trail system a five minute walk from our apartment. But, alas! No new snow.

Hope the folks who have survived Snowmagedden are shoveled out and ready for more snow.

Well, you and Gav have got to get here then - the place where wings were invented! Folks here are serious about their pub grub and everyone's got their fave place to get them. Oh yeah, and there's a big waterfall nearby too that tourists like to see

I'm heading off to the Olympics so will be checking in less frequently...I'll try to do a few posts of the events I attend. The first one is on Wed: the Opening Ceremony rehearsal...I scored tix thru a friend of an ex of a cousin of a VW owner It's only the rehearsal so they won't be lighting the torch but will be running thru mostly everything else. Considering face value of the actual OC tix are $1100 a piece I'm pretty content to see the rehearsal for $50 Play nice while I'm gone...I know I'll have some crazy catching up to do when I'm back in March
