With all this cold weather, I thought it might be time for some warming up.

Looking forward to PCC 2.0!

After looking at cruises, James and I now have some decisions to make. There are several cruises that I would like to go on, and we just can't do them all.

1. Podcast Cruise. Pros: Lots and Lots of friends, Christmas, lots and lots of friends. Cons: Horrible time for James to be gone.

2. Pacific Cruise in April 2011. Starts in LA, ends in Vancouver. Pros: Goes to San Francisco, James has been really wanting to go SF. CHEAP! The two of us can sail for $1500 for 6 nights. Cons: Very Expensive Airfare. I have to give up one of the other two cruises.

3. June 2011, Double Dip. Pros: drive to Florida and take a nice relaxing vacation. New ship. Double dip. Cons: Have to give up one of the other cruises, and the heat. We are escaping heat to go to heat.

I'm not sure what to do right now. James would LOVE the 6 night cruise. But, he is the one that said it would be sad to give up cruising with friends.

How soon do you have to decide? You can always book them all and then cancel at 45 days?

Which on includes your daughters? If you can only chose one, I'd chose the family cruise and sacrifice the DIS friends on PCC 2.0. (I think that would not make other PCC 2.0 DISers happy, though!)

Well, I think we just solved the problem. James can't go on the Pacific cruise. Unless his job changes, in which case cruising all together is probably out for us, he has to work then. What a bummer. But, it makes deciding easier.

My partner says that often the best way to decide is to not make a decision at all. If you wait, the answer comes clear. Just takes some patience, or procrastination.

So, will it be you and James on PCC 2.0 and family vacation in June?

Hooray! Glad it all works out for everyone. (including the DIS freinds who want you on the cruise!)

I have very fond memories of family time on long car trips driving places on family vacations. And this was before having movies and hand-held computer games. My brothers and I used to play hangman, dots 'n' boxes, guess state capitols, and license plate games. Eventually, we fell asleep on top of each other.

This has been the best vacation yet! We got to see a lot of our wonderful friends. The relaxing has been wonderful. John and I have done some exploring off Disney property, which is a first, and had some wonderful dining experiences.
We will be leaving on Friday morning to start our trek home. First I need to buy a roll of duct tape for John's mouth, as I will be the one doing the driving. He does not like my driving, but let me assure you I am a good driver. He however is not a good passenger.

The adventures of John and Katherine sounds like you had a fantastic time, bet it sucked going back I hope John behaved on the drive?

We were having a lovely day until James came home from work and asked me the plans for the weekend. The plan is to have Christmas with my mom. Great plan except James forgot to tell everyone he wasn't working on Saturday. Not only that, but he let everyone else have the day off.

We are supposed to get somewhere between one and three feet of snow this weekend!
Time to snuggle in with good food, books, movies, etc.

Wow I can't believe we missed seeing you again by 1 week, but then again ADP was there and we missed seeing him, Kim, and Anna.
We saw Don and his family, but not for very long. Rob came in a few days before we left and we were both in Epcot on New Year's Eve and we missed seeing him too. I am starting to see a pattern here.
I am thinking about starting a thread about our trip home.

A brief synopsis of my day to come...

Low - 5 degrees; High - 15 degrees; Currently 7 degrees.

Aches - check; slight fever - check; general crummy feeling - check.

MUST get the decorations down and put away.

Okay. Whining over. Kicking myself into gear.

Disneyland, Panama canal cruise, KSC, and Univeral Studios was a fab time!!! 15 days on a cruise ship is just about right However, I know we'll prolly be more exhausted after a particular 4 nite cruise

We found out over the Christmas break our friends Aaron and Charlotte will be coming on 2.0 too It's good that they weren't scared away from Disers when we met a few people in September (not that any of you were scary but the whole internet friends thing can seem a bit weird to outsiders!) I'm going to try to get them to join the Dis but they may just lurk

Good Morning Everyone!! Happy Monday!! Sorry for those who had to go back to work today! I have a few more days off before I go back.
