Oh, it is so odd being here in a high school. I used to sub in schools, but even that was twenty years ago. It is a whole other culture in here.

And don't you love the 'English' that they speak. I went into a high school for work the other week and my ears made me think I was magically transported to Eurasia.

Actually, here the language is from Asia!
Maine Central Institute (http://www.mci-school.org/) is a private high school that serves as public high school. (weird, huh?) About one quarter of the student population is from sixteen other countries, including Japan, Korea, China, Russia.

Good morning everyone - here's to Hump day Shame it's still the wrong side of the hump tho

Today in 1988 Oliver and Company was released I think this was the second Disney animated movie I saw in the cinema - the first was Basil the Great Mouse Detective - Ratigan scared me a lot

There is a cool program on History channel over here called life without people that shows how long things will stand up to the weather and earth quakes and stuff.

Good to know - I'll look for it...it's the kind of stuff DH likes

The snorkelling stuff I ordered just arrived and I'm so excite to use it!! The gear from snorket-mart.com always beats my expectations cuz it's so affordably priced but with lots of little features that show it's made with quality.

I ordered a snorkel vest - not the bib - an all-out, wraparound, double crotch strap vest! I'm a wimp when it comes to being out on the ocean Actually, I don't worry when I take a snorkelling tour cuz I know the operators are lifeguards but we're going out a couple of times on our own so better safe than sorry. There are little elastic "tabs" sown onto the adjustable straps that hold the excess strapping in a tight little bundle so they don't flap around when you're in the water...nice touch and totally unexpected . I'm going to try out my new snorkel in the bathtub...and even tho it's an oversized tub, testing out the fins too might be a bit much.

We'll have to wait until 1st Jan before our holiday requests can officially be in the system at work. Can't wait until that's done then there's nothing to stop us!

We've got our countdown set to 10th Dec 2010 as we're arriving that day. Hey, a couple of extra days off the ticker is always a bonus!

It's always a bonus, and that's when the fun starts b/c you are on vacation!

You know exact how many days before we leave on this upcomming trip for DAP.
You know exact the days left until PCC2.0.
Do you know how many days exact before out April transatlantic trip also??

You are soooooo hooked on Florida/Disney now.
I can't imagine anymore that you have said in 2005: "honey a 10 day ticket with no experation, why do we need that we won't go back ever...."
Now we have for the second year our annual passes and you are counting the days for an upcoming trip and for a trip over a year away.

Yvet you had to know this was going to happen to him.
After all he is a smart man!

Very intersesting how infrastructures fail so soon without man to be a caretaker.
