That is getting expensive but I thought it was totally worth the money last night. No need to get there early to view the fireworks. You aren't bumping into people. You can sit at a table or stand at the railing. It was great to be able to enjoy the buffet and watch the parades and fireworks.

From the pictures it looked really great to me.

Usually the only way to get to a dessert party would be to befriend a Disney bride who was planning on hosting one (I wish we could have had one for our Wedding). It seems Disney is branching out a little more with the special events, but then it's an added cost!

I think currently it is only planned through August. I bet if it goes well, we will see it in other busy times (like December).

I hope they don't make the price creep up. If they keep it at this price point it seems reasonable esp. given the array from which to choose...yum! I thought it might be like Fantasmic dessert/reserved seating where you get a little box of a few items only. With the dessert buffet set up like it was, I think it's almost worth it even without the fireworks - for sugar-fiend DH of course It was good to see they had some fresh fruit available.

We won't get to WDW until next Dec (yes, 2010 ) but if this event is still available, we will definitely do it.

But it did not stop me from doing 17 miles on my bike this morning.

Ken said thank you He hoped you didn't think he was a jerk. Morgan is doing well - she is actually at the carnival now with the stupidhead, I mean, boyfriend. But it is better that she spends the summer with my folks supervised than here without anyone watching over her

DH and I agreed that this was the BEST money we spent during our entire wedding day. If this was available in December, I would most definately book it!
