Thanks Aaron ! I just wanted to add any pics I post were taken by Paul. He doesn't allow me to touch the camera.
I should have guessed. I remember seeing Paul snapping pictures at DATW like he was some sort of New York Times reporter. :happytv:

I caught a picture of you with a frozen lemonade when you were supposed to be drinking beer!!! :scared1:

I'm never going to live that down. :sad2: Call it a bad error in judgement I guess. Regardless it did hit the spot. :upsidedow

I even drank beer. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
I did as well, just not a Sam Adams. Jasmine and Alladin told me not to drink alcohol in the America Pavillion.

I have a confession to make...the reason we didn't stick around for DATW is because DH had been sick the night before and spent most of the day in the room. We were very concerned that he might be experiencing symptoms of Swine Flu and didn't want to expose anyone else. Thankfully it only lasted about 24 hrs so we feel it was either something he ate or the heat. It sounds like we missed a really good time, but felt it was in the best interest of our fellow cruisers to bow out. Hopefully I can get a raincheck for the next time around!

Sorry to hear that Lisa. I hope Mark is doing ok now (sounds like it). You know you'll always have a rain check with us. Looking forward to seeing you again soon.

Thanks Aaron. The kids and I went to Epcot without Mark, but then he joined us about 5pm. He was feeling better at that point, but didn't want to have any "adult" beverages just in case his nausea came back. We were just so grateful it didn't turn into anything worse as it was my biggest fear that we'd be unable to make the long trip home.

I was wondering where you had disppeared too!! Glad to hear Mark's feeling better!!

Chris (Slapwhitey) and I just returned home yesterday and we are exhausted!! We did have our dinner with the crew on Sunday evening and it was everything we hoped for and more!! The food at Celebration tavern is incredible!! Even though I was talking way too much and kept forgetting to eat!!!

We are also signed up for the second cruise. We did get to meet some of you, not as many as we would have liked. Unfortunately we are both incredibly shy and not very outgoing!!

But you had no trouble finding me!!!!

I was actually thinking the same thing - I didn't get to meet as many people as I had hoped to.
DH was under the weather a bit on the ship - something he ate, or just being in the people soup, I mean Mickey Pool. :scared: Thankfully it passed quickly.

How is everyone adjusting to "real life"? I am having trouble.:rotfl:

I am. I don't go back to work until Friday. It's a mixed blessing...after 14 loads of laundry!!!! :laundy::eek: It was really 13, but I threw in DD's snow gear so I can donate it so I didn't end on 13. :rolleyes1

I actually rebooked on the boat! Now my claim to fame will not be that I am the one who booked 2 weeks before sailing. Now what will I be famous for?! Well I will be turning 27 on the second day of the cruise (12/13)... party for me?? :woohoo: princess:

That's my daughter's birthday, too - she'll be turning 20 on the cruise... assuming I bring her... :rolleyes1

;)
Jeff, I wanted to share this pic of you and Val watching Illuminations. I love it!

Love the picture. We've only been married 12 years now so we are still newlyweds.

Its funny how many folks say we go well together. We often say that about each other too. Of course it had to be magical since we met at WDW!

Nobody wants to talk to me when I go to the grocery store or anywhere I go. I miss talking to all of you in person. :)

We miss you too Kathy. I'm looking forward to chatting with you in person next month.

I'm bringing my kids (figures...everyone else is leaving theirs at home!), this is a graduation present for my DD. And of course I have to bring my li'l boy, too (DS20). Just going to leave ol' grumpy at home this time.

So, what was Mike's final verdict on the cruise? The group? The whole experience? I'm guessing not great since you're leaving him at home next time. Sorry, we really didn't mean to torture him. pirate:

His final verdict? " It's too darn HOT!" Couldn't seem to get over the heat.

I don't know how he lives through the summer, honestly.

I'm sorry to hear that Mark was sick Lisa. Was he feeling poorly on the cruise? Glad to hear he is doing better. :goodvibes It was AWESOME spending time with you on the cruise! :goodvibes

Kathy, Jennie thinks this post is hilarious! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I for one can't wait to talk to you! See you in Dec for DIS-A-Palooza.:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Question...did anyone else find those fold-down beds in the cabins extremely hard??? I tried lying on one, and it was brutal! Can you ask for extra padding on those things? Or should I bring an eggcrate pad for the beds/bunks?

I tried laying on the couch/bed and thought it was awful! Paul actually slept on it the last night because Jennie had a wicked bad sunburn and needed something more comfortable.

How is she doing? I felt so bad for her when you were talking about her sunburn. I got a ton of color on this trip and I used a whole bottle of SPF 45 sunblock. At least I am ready for a summer at the pool.
