Oh...if only I could fit in three cruises in between now and December. I wouldn't be opposed to it but my manager may have a few negative feelings.

We have made some decisions regarding this cruise. We decided not to take our infant with us. But we are still hoping to go. If we get to move back to Michigan by September we are definitely going. If we don't then we might have someone fly down to VA and watch DS so we can have fun!

Hi Folks! Don't think I've posted on this thread yet. Just paid the balance off for this cruise yesterday!! We're so excited, it's been a while since we were on a 7 day cruise.

With 3.0 occupied, our threads seem to be getting more attention!

It will be fun to hear how it went when they return and of course the plans that formulate for us in December...

And Nancy - hot is WAY better than cold any day! A/C is amazing down south - but when it's cold - the heat can't keep up! This coming from an Ohioan that moved south...

With our mini heat wave (107 yesterday) it's going to seem odd for us to look forward to boarding the cruise ship this weekend heading to the Caribbean and getting cooler weather!

also excited to hear about 3.0 and how it went with the new bigger ship, and fewer people. just going over fantasy deck plans and getting more excited! our cruise seems to be selling pretty well with only verandah and concierge rooms open right now. we have a 9d gty room so waiting is fun cant wait to see what we get. also booked aoa little mermaid room for december 5-8th. I cant seem to find a rental car rate that isnt outrageous for our dates for mco-port canaveral drop off. we might have to take the dis shuttle and pay for mears shuttle to universal it seems more affordable. plans are coming together! if anybody has found a good rental rate please let me know we prefer to have a car, thanks!

thur- universal/ioa hoppers
fri- start in mk check out new fantasyland and hop to epcot open for pm extra magic hours
sat-sat cruisin'

I'm also excited to hear how 3.0 went. I seem to remember Pete saying that the show taped onboard would be available on June 30th. It will be great to hear that show...but the first show after 3.0 should be good since the team will have had time to process and form solid opinions of the overall experience.

Have a GREAT cruise - even though it's to the Caribbean in the summer!

It's supposed to get into the upper 90s this week in central Illinois, and that's a great big UGH to me. We're visiting the in-laws in SW Michigan this weekend, so I hope it's a tad bit cooler there. If not - I hope THEIR AC works!

It was all wonderful! I can tell you this: if you want to escape the summer heat, cruise to the Arctic Circle!

I don't think I've ever felt the need to escape the heat, if it gets "that" hot here, its only for a short few days.

I'm sitting here in thermals, fleece and wearing a beanie and snow boots - its so cold in the house I can see my breathe. Waiting for the sun to come out behind the cloud. Send me some warmth!

In early Nov 2011 I was on Dream and saw the Disney elves decorate because we booked back to back - was the most amazing transformation that was done in about 5 hours. I know they did more decorating as it got closer (like finish the gingerbread house) but it really does give the ship a different feel.

It will be our first Christmas cruise and also our first trip to WDW during the holidays, we usually travel in September or early October.

I'm also excited to hear how 3.0 went. I seem to remember Pete saying that the show taped onboard would be available on June 30th. I'm looking forward to hearing these too. I am so far behind in my Podcast listening so it may take me another few months to hear it
