3 weeks from this moment what will I be doing? Karaoke? Enjoying my the company of my friends over tasty adult beverages? What do you think? Can you all talk me into actually DOING Karaoke? I don't think there are enough tasty adult beverages on board to do that. But who knows.

16 days before leaving
9.5 work days left

This is getting so exciting...I can't stand it. I'm almost finished with my FE...just some minor touches left. This week, besides rearranging the living room and putting up the tree, (and Thanksgiving, of course) I need to go through some lists and buy the items we need, finish the FE, try to make some magnets and go over the packing lists......Whew...going to be a busy week....good thing I'm only working 2 days this week.

That's a pretty cool benefit. Last time we brought walkie talkies for CC but no need for them this time.

In the fall? I thought cookies were in Feb/March.

Ack! I think it is about a half hour later than the last change.
When I booked it was 1:25 - 4:30. Now it is 4:22 - 7:42.

I don't like the new time at all, but not much I can do about it.
The price went down $14.00. I really don't want credit for a future flight. Wonder if they would let me put it towards the baggage fee?

Airtran doesn't give credits like Southwest & Jet Blue. You can switch your flight to an earlier flight though by calling them and telling them the new schedule doesn't work for you. However, that would mean layovers and not a direct flight in your case.

Ah. The drawback of AirTran (we fly them too) - you have to keep checking to see that they don't mess with your flight times. (I obsessively check at least once per week because sometimes you don't get the e-mail when they make changes.)

Usually once you're within the 3 week window, they don't make changes, but we did have them do it at 2 weeks one time.

If you call them and there are spaces available on a better flight, they will change it for you at no charge if the new times don't work for you.

Our current policy allows the customer that has experienced a schedule change the option of being moved to another flight at no additional cost, or to receive a full refund if we are unable to find a schedule that satisfies your need for travel. However, there may be other options available to you as well. Should you wish to discuss your travel options, please call our Customer Relations Department at 1-866-AIR CHAT (1-866-247-2428). Our hours of operation are 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. We are unable to modify your reservation via e-mail due to changing rates and flight availability.

In regards to finding a cheaper fare, the lowest fare is usually secured by booking in advance; however, on occasion, we will release seats at a promotional rate which may be more deeply discounted. As a gesture of good will, we will adjust the fare and the balance will be placed in a credit file with AirTran Airways, valid for one year from the original date of booking. Reservation credits are transferable and may be applied towards travel to any AirTran Airways destination. The new travel will not have to be complete by the expiration date of your credit file, only booked.
