pocket plan?

Having another copy of the plans via text/saved photo or a print out seems smart to me! I hear often that MDE is down, and that would suck if you couldn't remember your fast pass times or dinner reservations.

If you were going to type up a small touring plan version that could be carried in a pocket or wallet to the park, what info would you want on there? I'm thinking Fastpasses and ADRs for sure....what else? TIA!

ETA: I should add that I'm traveling with first timers, which is why i'm thinking about doing this.
I use the notes section of my phone & put a brief daily intinerary by date. It includes ADRs, Fps & what parks each day. I find it easier than looking at MDE & sifting through all the plans of family & friends that aren’t mine. Its also better to me b/c sometimes MDE is down or info isn’t there temporarily. It’s also easier to make changes than if it were handwritten or typed on paper.

I just use touring plans and put everything on that app including my adr's and notes on the best quick service places to eat.

I mostly use MDE, but I also carry an index card in my pocket for each day. I have the hours for all the parks listed, our FP, our lunch/dinner plans, and notes about any shows we are planning to see that have specific times (ie: FOTLK, Indy, Ilumniations, etc). I also make a note of anything specific that we want to do that I don't want to forget. That might mean checking a specific shop for a particular souvenir, a snack that we want to make sure to track down, etc.

I like to have the backup in case I have a problem with my phone, the wifi or MDE, none of which are unheard of. I also like to have it on paper. I definitely like my paper planner, and just can't convince myself that I don't need my lists on paper, even at Disney.

I did something similar.

I used PowerPoint to make a custom slide with the dimensions of my phone screen.

Then I put my Touring Plan in there, including FP+, ADR, etc.

I made a PDF of the slides and loaded it to my phone - it was the perfect size (took up the whole screen, easily readable because I made sure fonts were big enough).

Only 2 couples went on the trip, so I just sent our plan to friends and they knew where we’d be, same if my wife decided to skip a show & shop or whatever.

Plus, since it was electronic, I could change it to my heart’s content without worrying about printing it or relying on MDE/network coverage while in the park. Unfortunately, I lost the file so I can’t post it.

I do everything on the phone now, with a Google Document, which is shared to everyone in my family.

That having been said, to properly answer the original question, when I used pocket sized printouts, I made them on index cards (and laminated them so I would actually be able to read them after they got soaked) and included all of my rides, and the times I intended to ride them (before FP+) as well as what rides I wanted to pull FP for, and when I wanted to get them. I also included park hours, parade / show times, ADR #'s and / or QS meal times and locations, basically my full day itinerary printed on front and back (if necessary) of an index card. I would carry that in my pocket, and a mini sharpie marker hanging from a pocket, or belt loop to just check things off as we did them so it was quick and easy to see where we were. I had times for everything so I would have an idea of whether we were ahead, or behind, that way I knew whether to skip something, or add something in.

It worked pretty well, but I have to say, I like the Google Doc on the phone a LOT more! That is one document in which I keep track of itinerary for every day, hotel confirmation numbers, money / expenses, packing lists so we know we have everything we need for the trip, car rental confirmation, address and time to pick up and drop off, address for where we are staying (offsite vacation rental), shopping list for stuff we need to buy once we are in Florida (like perishable food for the house), info for any attraction / restaurant we want to visit. Bonus, everyone has access, so no one needs to ask me what are we doing tomorrow, where is lunch today, what time do we have supper etc. etc. because they can all open up the document on their phones, and see for themselves.
